It contains no abrasives, glycerin (found in soap causing film buildup), harsh ammonia, or acid. Have you ever tried using soap and felt an oily buildup on the watch case and/or bracelet? Have you ever taken a whiff of a jewelry cleaner? Most smell like an industrial cleaning solution. Harsh jewelry cleaners often contain ammonia or dangerous surfactants that may work well on diamonds, but are not intended for watches. As soap is good for your hands, not your watch.
